As a business we take data security very seriously. Our system plays a key role in dealerships across the country and it’s vital that the data it holds is as secure and well managed as possible. Security and compliance has always been a key consideration for enquiryMAX and has been a driver behind many of our most recent updates.
For our customers, data security is an issue that can have significant impacts – not just on systems and processes but on brand reputation and ultimately the bottom line. Recent high profile data breaches have made the public aware of the risks of sharing their data and with large fines on the horizon it’s important that our customers feel confident that our systems are secure.
To show how committed we are to keeping our client’s data safe, and to helping them adhere to the new GDPR, we’ve been working hard to achieve ISO 27001 certification. Over the last six months we’ve updated our systems, processes and software, and working together with GForces we have put a new Information Security Management System (ISMS) in place.
The hard work has been worth it as following an extensive independent assessment conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, we’re pleased to announce that we’ve achieved our ISO status – making enquiryMAX one of only a handful of lead management software companies who have taken this step.
Certification is a major step forward for the business and is a big boost in preparing us for the new GDPR. ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised Information Security Management Standard that proves our commitment to the security of our customer’s, partner’s and employee’s information. With ISO 27001 in place, we can minimise risks to potential data security breaches and reduce errors and costs.
