Year on year sales of used vehicles increased by 39% in July according to research carried out by enquiryMAX, the lead management specialist.
Its research of data from 500 dealerships across the UK also found a 43% rise in enquires and 60% rise in test drives. Online activity also saw a boost with leads from digital channels increasing by 104%.
“It’s clear the market is turning and dealers are putting more focus and resource into used sales,” said David Boyce, managing director of enquiryMAX.
“The internet is increasingly becoming the primary resource for leads, and this means that dealers must manage the customer journey seamlessly to maximise sales from every lead and digital marketing spend.”
